Ellen DeGeneres may have taken the world's most viral selfie, but a 12-year-old male ring-tailed lemur named Bekily may have taken the world's most adorable ones. ZSL London Zoo reports that the lemur grabbed the camera from one of his keepers, Tegan McPhail. "As I was snapping away, he grabbed the camera lens and pulled it towards his own face. It took him a few attempts but he got a great profile pic in the end."
Ring-tailed lemurs (Lemur catta) are perhaps the most recognizable of the world's lemurs, but there are a total of 101 species and sub-species, all found only on the island of Madagascar. The species is classified by the IUCN Red List as Near Threatened, mainly due to habitat loss.
